Instead, it recognizes that skin experiences different “Instants” throughout the day or even within minutes, guiding its skincare philosophy.

Biologique Recherche – even its name sounds extravagant! Founded by Yvan and Josette Allouche, the company pioneered a revolutionary treatment method and innovative skincare products tailored to address the specific needs of every Skin Instant. Recognizing the significance of their growing line, they introduced their son, Dr. Philippe Allouche, to the world of formulation, craftsmanship, biology, and skin studies. Dr. Allouche inherited the company’s legacy and formulas, working alongside Rupert Schmid and Pierre-Louis Delapalme to uphold the brand’s philosophy and surpass expectations in delivering remarkable results.
How does BR differ from other brands?
What makes the BR luxury skincare line unique? Well for me, the most important aspect is its high concentration of active ingredients that are carefully chosen based on high quality and purity standards, cultivated and harvested respecting the environment! All of the substances that BR uses for their skin-improving qualities are sought in nature. This practice is used for both the development of new products and the improvement of existing ones. I was surprised to learn that each raw material that is used in their products goes through a quarantine status as soon as it enters the laboratory. Once this step is finished, the ingredient becomes part of the production process.
What is amazing about this skincare line is that it preserves all properties of the active ingredients! Each one of the products is developed in a family laboratory, in small quantities, with care and dedication. It is all about the love poured in the process! The result: natural scents that leave no one indifferent, unique textures, and high-quality products that improve all skin types! When I decided to try these products, I noticed that the effects were visible even from the first application!
The products I swear by
In my skincare routine, I start with a double cleanse. First, I use the botanical cleansing milk Lait U to remove dirt and purify my skin while also providing hydration and nutrition. This wonder product calms and regenerates the skin, acting as an antioxidant and protecting the epidermis.
After cleansing, I apply the legendary P50 lotion, which comes in six formulas tailored to improve each Skin Instant. These lotions exfoliate, balance, detoxify, and regulate pH, catering to different skin types and needs.
Once my skin is prepared, I apply masks, favoring Mask Vivant for oil control and Mask VIP O2 for pollution defense during winter. Vivant works wonders in reducing excess oils, while VIP O2 provides deep cleansing and oxygenation.
Biologique Recherche’s multi-purpose serums offer hydration and anti-aging effects with light textures that penetrate immediately. My favorite, Complexe Iribiol, absorbs excess oils and smooths imperfections for flawless skin.
For the eye area, I use Crème contour Des Yeux VIP O2 to match my Mask VIP O2. This eye cream lightens dark circles, improves elasticity, and intensely hydrates.
To combat excess seborrhea, I turn to Crème Dermopurifiante, a moisturizer that regulates sebum and purifies the epidermis, mattifying the skin and minimizing pores during acne-prone times.
For a bright boost, I use Crème Pigm 400 to lighten dark spots and protect against new blemishes, giving my skin luminosity.
How to achieve flawless-looking skin?
My best advice is to maintain proper facial hygiene consistently. Correct and rigorous treatment at home is the basis for achieving optimal results. Since we’re constantly exposed to the harms of the outside world, you need to start and end the day with proper skincare.
